Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Brutox ("we", "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application. We are transparent by principle: if there's anything you don't like about how we handle your data, write to us.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

During onboarding, we collect the following information voluntarily, with the sole purpose of personalizing your experience:

Vices or Bad Habits	To personalize discipline quotes
Personal Goals	To generate ultra-personalized quotes (dreams, rivals...)
Brutality Level	To control content harshness (1–5)
Notifications	To configure local reminders

Important: All this data is stored exclusively on your device using local encrypted storage. We do not have our own servers where it's saved. If you uninstall the app, it is permanently deleted.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We use PostHog (with servers in the EU) to understand how the app is used and to improve it:

Visited screens and interaction time
Where users drop off during onboarding
How many quotes are saved, shared, or unlocked
Notification permissions and interaction
Brutality level (just the number) and language
Active subscription and daily usage streaks

This data is associated with an anonymous device identifier; we do not share your data for advertising. PostHog does not have access to names or personalized texts of your rivals/dreams.

1.3 Subscription Data

Subscriptions to Brutox Unlimited are managed through Apple In-App Purchases / Google Play and RevenueCat. We receive subscription status (active/expired) and date. We do not access payment methods.

1.4 Data on Your Device

Your name, favorites, interactions, and settings never leave your device for our external web services.

RevenueCat: Subscription management
PostHog: Product analytics (EU servers)
Apple App Store / Google Play: Payment management

3. Use of Information

Personalize: Generate quotes tailored to you.
Improve: Analyze crashes and refine usage.
Manage: Control payments and subscriptions.

4. Data Retention

Local data: Until you uninstall.
Analytics in PostHog: 365 days, then deleted.
You can request deletion of your analytics by writing to us.

5. Push Notifications

Our notifications are local; there are no mass mailings from central servers. They only occur in your phone's background at times you determine.

6. Children's Privacy

This app contains explicit adult content 17+. It is not designed or permitted under our control for children. Write to us if you discover or suspect otherwise.

7. GDPR / European Rights

Complies with GDPR legal bases (Consent 6.1.a and Legitimate 6.1.f). If you live in Spain, the AEPD in Madrid is the supervisory agency.
You can at any time consult and exercise your right to be forgotten and data portability.
